My Substack subscriptions have been growing despite not posting anything here since early January. This is very nice to see. Thank you.
As some of you know I’ve been working on a book since October. It’s taking much longer than I expected. I’ll be going to go back to publishing on here once a week, every 2 weeks maximum, which will likely be published on Sundays while I work on the book. I paused paid subscriptions once I knew I wouldn’t be able to post for a while, which I always will, but now paid subscribers can read all of my Substack posts.
It’s easy to get lost in the ether of the timeline, get fixated on one topic, feel things, post about it, it goes away and then you’re onto the next thing. I’ll be going through the past week’s more interesting happenings and expand on them in more detail. I aim for this to be a weekly thing, if not then bi-weekly.
There have been plenty of times I’ve wanted to post about something more-long form on here but that energy has been directed into the book. Here’s a quick update on it.
‘Fate & Demonic Lust’
I talked about what the book is about earlier this week on a Space held by
which will soon be released as an episode on his podcast. It was recorded, so you can check it out here.I can see how easy it is to pump out a mediocre book and why most books aren’t worth reading. I also see how easy it would be to dumb it down and just write what people want to hear to reach a wider audience. Re-reading, expanding, removing, tweaking, switching the order of the content — it’s very time consuming and I become a perfectionist when I write in long form.
I’m still working on the content. Once it’s complete, two close friends of mine will read it and send me their feedback. Then it will go to editing, then I move onto the artwork and publishing stage. I can’t say for sure when it will be ready and I don’t want to overpromise, but rest assured I’m dedicating as much time as I can to it. I’m giving it my all. I promise it will be worth the wait.
Zoomer Whining
This video got a ton of engagement and was even boosted by Elon. It’s pretty rare that I disagree with Musk, but I think validating this kind of whining by young men isn’t good. My critique ended up being very long, so I made it into its own separate post. I don’t think men should be making up excuses for why their life sucks and the majority of the reasons listed are weak and invalid. You can find my post about that here.
Andrew Huberman & The Male Predicament
The happening of the week was Andrew Huberman and the hit piece some underfucked “journalist” from NYMag wrote about him. Luckily he handled it like an absolute chad and mogged them by using the number 6 in all of his posts and making a 6-post series about sunlight optimization or whatever. This was the perfect way to handle it. He didn’t apologize, mocked them and carried on.
There was a lot of debate on the timeline about cheating. I was expecting my take on this to upset the women but strangely it didn’t as it’s pretty hard to disagree with. Or maybe they missed what I was trying to say.
The reality is, women do not want men that other women don’t want to fuck. How women feel about men is a major signal to them. If he’s turning other women off then he must be doing something wrong, if other women want to fuck him then he must be doing something right. Women will only want you if other women want to fuck you. And if other women want to fuck you then you may be tempted to fuck other women. This puts men in an interesting place, doesn’t it?
